Which Linux distribution to choose for a novice developer?

After troubleshooting Vinodouvs with Golang, there was an acute question of choosing a distribution kit on Linux. Notebook i5-7200U with 8 GB of RAM. will spin VS Code + Mozilla Browser. Which Linux distribution to choose for a beginner back-ender? I would like to have less problems with repositories, well, as goodies, a normal GUI.

Any deb-based. The same mint, for example.

Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (Focal Fossa)

All sorts of mints are like assemblies of Vasyan for windows.

If it is clean for itself and without pens regarding the components of the distribution - bubuntu, they usually start with it.
