Which linux distribution is running php 5.2 by default?

Actually, php 5.2 was needed for the old project, and all the turnips for centos 5 with php 5.2 died.

PHP5.3 is already outdated... You
can install it manually in any.

Building from source on a modern distribution will be much easier than installing an old distribution and then looking for packages for it.

Of course, the turnips are dead - php 5.2 has died a long time ago and there are many unpatched vulnerabilities in it.
There are very few issues with migrating to later versions of PHP. You can hire a developer for a couple of days and he will fix everything.
You can install ubuntu 8.04 - it just has 5.2, and it is also no longer supported. But bring joy to young hackers :)

Put the server with the version you need, for example, xampp. It will certainly take less time than the installed php to roll back.

Eh, almost at the wrong time, at one time I had my own repository with different software for centos 6, but under 5 there was pehepe 5.2.
At one time, it appeared just because of the fact that there was no 5.2 in public turnips.
This is what I'm talking about .... Compile from source, you can even compile packages and then use them.
