Which LCD display or LED matrix to choose for static display?

Good afternoon,
the task is to display a message of 1 word on the display, which should be readable from a long distance, the character height should be 10-15 cm, advise a good display for this or an LED matrix, preferably with a simple interface (spi, serial, 8bit -parallel) to manage this case with MK (avr or younger stm32)? while the following solution comes to mind: 4 matrices 8 * 32 with the HT1632C driver, for aliexpress such 650 rubles each. for the matrix, but here it is necessary to steer with 4 matrices + it is not enough in height. More serious matrices need to be shimmed by hand, which I would not want. The ideal option would be a character LCD on the HD44780, but they are all small, I saw graphic LCDs up to 5 inches - also not enough.

As an option, output to a VGA display. There are a lot of these on the Internet.

Well, you have a problem.
From a running start, the only options that come to mind are "Buy a ready-made light panel" (well, those that are put on kiosks and which flicker annoyingly), and control it. 100% will be visible from 10 meters or more.
A height of 10-15 cm is at least 10 "screen. I have not seen anything similar for AVR / ARM, and even with adequate prices.
Next. Have you considered the option of LED indication? In particular, several LEDs of different colors and their combinations.
Green / Green - good. Green/Red - warning. Red/Red - that's it, skiff.
Plus: Fast "read"
Minus: "Word encoding".
