Which laptop to choose for a daily commute by train?
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen!
I am a web developer. I work statically in a company. Until now, I have never encountered programming on the road. It just so happened that I have 4 hours of time on the road every day. I used to go with friends and time flew by, but now I go alone, I want to develop and do my own projects, side jobs.
I'm very interested in choosing a laptop for Web programming purposes. I think that a video card is absolutely not needed, the processor, performance, and RAM are important. And 15 inches will be too much and heavy for mobility.
Dear programmers, can you advise something that you specifically use? Thank you!
UPD. Budget 80 thousand.

The budget would be announced.
In general, 100% right now will advise the poppy. In general - yes, a good option.
From myself, I always advise ASUS ZenBook UX410UA. 14 inches, which fit in a 13.3 case.
Take an easy one . This is the key setting.
Do not look at memory, tk. it is underestimated in all laptops - it must be purchased separately in any case. Take any laptop you like and look at the maximum possible amount of memory. You need at least 16GB.
The rest is not critical. Well, an SSD is possible, but it can be tolerated.
Since the question is categorically not asked exactly (the budget is not specified), then take a macbook.
Dell XPS 13 9360
ASUS ZenBook 13 UX331
HP ProBook 430 G4
Lenovo YOGA 720-13
HP ProBook 440 G5
Lenovo IdeaPad 320S-13
Acer Spin 5 SP513-51-38M1
ASUS P302
dollar , Vlad , plus about the Yandex market. There is an excellent filter of any parameters.
Set the price, weight, screen size, matrix type, operating time, processor type, memory size.
The type and size of the hard drive, the thickness of the case and the rest - at will, if the "main" filter is not enough.
And as already said, it's easier to buy a laptop with 8 gig and then buy another 8 (this will be 100% cheaper, laptop 8 + memory 8, than to immediately look for a laptop with 16 gig).
Another tip, if there is a laptop with dvd - instead of it, put a sled and SSD there.
Or look for a laptop with 2 drives, for example, SSD on pci-express + normal sata-hdd.
As a result, there will be 2 disks, SSD for the system and hdd for file storage.
UPD.
And one more thing about the duration of the work. Modern batteries (Li-on, Li-Pol) slowly die stupidly from the lifetime. Those. in 5-7 years (figures are conditional), most likely nothing will remain of it. And it practically does not depend on the operating modes (google it yourself).
Accordingly, the larger the battery capacity at the "start", the more it will remain after a conditional 3 years. For example, if at the start there were 4 hours of autonomy, then after 3 years you can easily have 1 hour left, which you will no longer have enough. (all figures are arbitrary).
And you will have to change the laptop or the battery, which is not always easy to replace if it is not removable (which is very common with modern laptops).
