Which is better to use in a medium sized project? Doctrine ORM or zend-db?

Can not choose. The project is built on independent libraries from composer. It seems that zend-db is simple, convenient, works quickly, on the other hand, it is too much to do by hand. I would like to hear the opinions of knowledgeable people.
