Which is better to use: Dagger or Dagger2?

Thinking about DI in Android. Apparently - the menstream is Dagger from Square. Judging by the commits, the project is alive. There is Dagger 2 which is based on Dagger and supported by Google.
Question: what to use? Otherwise, I would use Google's library, but for some reason I trust Square more ...

Dagger2. It's more flexible.
