Which is better to study: mathematics or programming?

Hello, I am a student of the 7th grade, I want to learn information security. I read on Habré that you need to know mathematics and programming well. I started studying programming, but it began to seem to me that it was better to focus on physics with mathematics, because. according to them, I study for a weak 4. Could you advise: what is better to focus on?

It is programming (in its correct understanding) that cannot be normally studied without mathematics.
Specifically, in your situation, learn the school course and do not hammer your head yet. When you study at the institute for a 2-3 course, then decide whether it is worth learning programming at all and by this moment there will already be at least an abstract understanding of what you need to study additionally.
For now, if you really want to code and learn what and how it works, it’s enough to take any popular and non-php =) PL (c\c++\delphi\sharp\java\ruby\python) and write something simple, questions will arise along the way how and what works, try to find out the answers to them by reading books. Knowledge at the level of "I'll write my notepad or network chat" will be enough without knowledge in the subtle sciences.

In the 7th grade, smoke the school curriculum. Because half of what they will try to give you in external sources - you simply will not understand. In math, that's right. In programming - most likely, too.

4/12 - trash of course
Learning math and physics using the school program is not enough
To write a script in php - you don’t need a lot of mind
Focus on what you like

There are two options:
1) Develop what you are good at.
2) Develop what is badly obtained.
Many focus on the second point, but IMHO the emphasis should be on the first. If you feel that you lack the same math for your favorite programming, then do it. But if you don't feel like you need it, then go for it.
Although it is necessary to make a reservation. Mathematics is such a cool thing, like nothing useful, and then BAM DYSCH !!!! Well, let's take a closer look...
