Which is better or faster, memcached or redis?

I'm going to use a caching system, I'm thinking which one to choose.

Yes, everything is about the same + -. Whatever you like, use it. I used to cache all the frequently requested information in memcash and then switched to redis. The difference in speed and implementation is not noticeable at all, of course.
