Which is better (more convenient/faster/more informative/easier): keil or truestudio?
Good day :) so I started my way into microcontroller development and it became interesting why most of the development lessons for microcontrollers on Russian YouTube use keil arm? Who has any opinions?

Historically, the Keil is an older instrument. In addition, before buying ARM, they had compilers for many platforms, like IAR. Therefore, those who switched, for example, from 51 to ARM / Cortex took a familiar tool.
Now I would choose IAR - according to tests, they have a better compiler and a built-in static code analyzer. Well, licenses will be cheaper if you switch to the bright side of the force.
And Keil, it seems to me, is blown away. Updates are rare, they do not add anything useful, support for compilation on multi-core processors appeared in 2017 (2017!!!). We have been using licensed Cale for more than 6 years.
PS If you answer the question in the title - use a third-party editor that is convenient for you and you will be happy. We use SlickEdit, Sublime, Visual Studio Code
