Which is better: HDD 2.5 or SSD 2.5 for storing files and torrents?

I know there have been many questions on this topic, but a search turns up discussions that took place several years ago. I would like to clarify how the situation is today.

Form factor only 2.5 in both cases, will be used as an internal drive. I read discussions that an inexpensive SSD can produce a low-frequency squeak, but I think it’s not worth writing about the noise from the HDD.

Question: what will be better at the moment? Should you buy an SSD given that the price difference is minimal?

Between SSD and HDD? Weird.
Take an SSD, if you have money, I have never heard noise from them.

HDD is bigger for the same money and much more reliable
