Which is better for a specific Yii2 or ModX project?

Good evening.
I myself have not worked with ModX, so it is difficult to tell the customer what to choose for the project.
The project is a construction marketplace where companies and construction sites of contractors and subcontractors are represented. Objects have their own fields in the database. There are lists. There is a registration of customers and contractors.
There is a complex filter for construction objects, sorting. There are votes/ratings and reviews.
What to choose? CMD ModX or yii2 framework? On what, on average, the development process will be easier/cheaper?
I would be grateful for good advice.

Yii2 is better for a custom marketplace. You will mess with the rules, validations and relationships in Modx.

I think in this case it is necessary to dance on what a specific developer can do. I have not worked much with Yii2, but I am sure that your task is feasible on both.
Here, as with the choice of a linux distribution - take the one that your mentor knows.
