Which IP phone has an API?
Good day!
Available: office, 6 people, ancient analog automatic telephone exchange.
Due to the increased flow of incoming calls, there was a need for DISA, a waiting queue.
There was a question of purchase of new automatic telephone exchange.
Within the limited budget of 45 tr. for everything-about-everything, the choice fell on the budget Tellus all-in-one ATC.
As a result of the upgrade, I wanted to be able to send a command to start a call to the phone from the computer by highlighting the phone number on the screen and pressing a key combination on the keyboard. Softin is ready to write himself, but for this you need a toolkit for managing "ends". Tellus, as far as I understand, has no API. Therefore, you will have to manage the "terminals" directly, without the participation of the automatic telephone exchange.
Found info that Cisco IP phones have XML API, but their DECT instances are out of our budget.
Maybe you can advise specific models of devices?
Panasonic'ami can not be controlled from the outside in any way?
