Which image viewer would you recommend?

I have a question. Previously, I used the ACDSee program to view images on a computer. Always satisfied everyone. But the latest versions are not very encouraging. It became heavy and buggy (in my humble opinion), and besides, it was paid.
So I wanted to ask the community: please advise some (preferably free) photo viewer. One of the most important principles is the ability to view a directory tree with photo previews (and that the size of the previews can be scaled).

FastStone Image Viewer is a free clone of ACDSee. You can use IrfanView and others, but they are less similar.
PS Is this new fun to delete the old question with a clear answer and re-post it?

FastStone Image Viewer - out of competition, view previews from a PSD file, have not seen similar functionality in other programs
