Which ide to use Phpstorm or Neatbeans and how much worse is the second one than the first one?

Switched to phpstorm two months ago. In general, everything is cool, only it is paid and it costs a lot. While I'm just studying, so I can't afford a license, so I'm sitting on a crack. Sometimes the face flies out and you have to insert a new one.
So the questions are:
How much better is phpstorm than its counterpart?
Can netbeans work with databases and remote server?
How good is syntax highlighting?
Of course, I'll start making money, maybe I'll buy a storm, but for now I'm looking towards netbeans.
Waiting for answers, thanks in advance.

I use only phpStorm, wonderful IDE. If you are a student or a schoolboy, then they issue a license for free.

Better or worse are often subjective concepts.
Someone uses CodeLobster and has 100,500 reasons why it's the best.
The fact is that a significant part of php-programmers looks at all IDEs, except for the storm, with a descent. And if there are two identical candidates at the interview, one of which uses a storm, and the second codelobster, preference will most likely be given to the first. Because... because that's the way people are.
