Which ide to choose?

While I'm on phpdesiner, I like everything, but sometimes there are glitches - there the text stops being entered and similar trifles. I like simplicity, speed, and the fact that you can easily edit directly on the server via ftp - by the way, I tried it on netbins or storm - this editing option does not work directly. Well, I see the designer is rarely updated, I would like to see a more modern interface.

I am using eclipse. for remote work plug-in to it Remote Explorer.
I tried PHPStorm a year ago, I just didn’t have enough remote work, so I’m not moving on yet

PHPStorm has synchronous remote editing. At least since version 7+ I have been on it and it is always there, the only moment is that it downloads a copy of the files to the computer and uploads it to the server with each press of Ctrl + S.
What's wrong with the design? Everything is good here. Several themes and a lot of settings. So that your eyes do not hurt - choose a dark one and that's it.
PS For a long time my wife and I chose a phone according to its characteristics, and when they came to the store, she screamed "I want this little white one." (Joke)

Try also Komodo IDE , it works directly via FTP. Although PHPStorm and Netbeans are still cooler, it's better to get used to the good things right away.

The topic has already been discussed a million times: real gurus work in vim or, at worst, emacs.
