Which ide platform is easier to develop GUI on?
I will be doing GUI development soon and my question is which ide platform to do it on? On NetBeans or Idea?

It is easiest to develop on what you are used to. It's just a matter of taste and habit.
If you're not used to either, try both for a couple of weeks on each.
NetBeans , good stuff. But this is an ORACLE product, and they don't really like python. In my opinion, PyCharm is the best for python development.
If we are talking about developing an interface in Swing, then there is practically no difference, because everything will have to be written by hand.
If JavaFX, then IDEA has a built-in gui-wizard SceneBuilder, which is indispensable.
You can also install it separately for use with any IDE (I advise you to do this anyway, because Intellij IDEA Community Edition has poor SceneBuilder optimization).
