Which IDE/code editor to choose for Mac?

Hello. I have been coding in Dreamweaver for several years now. I started working in it when I was just mastering the layout, but I could not move to something more functional due to established habits. Now the functions are sorely lacking, so I'm looking for an IDE or code editor that matches the trail as closely as possible. parameters:

  • Customizable syntax highlighting depending on the language. In DW, each language is highlighted differently.
  • The ability to highlight pieces of code. For example, by clicking inside html, parent tags are shown below, by clicking on which the entire piece of code will be highlighted. Same with js and php.
  • On-the-fly syntax error checking

I've tried sublime, brackets and atom, but they look more like an extended notepad than a normal editor.
PS. WYSIWYG, etc. - not needed.

here on the left there is a selection panel, I recommend that you immediately switch to the IDE standards and master it.
Companies may ask that not knowing the IDE is more of a minus than a plus.
