Which free DBMS is better for Windows?
MSSQL has limitations in the Express version, in particular, it tightens the database size limit. Since now it is necessary to fill the database with site parsing, I feel that I can quickly reach the limit.
I looked towards Firebird and Postgresql, but for the first there are no migration mechanisms to VS, which will greatly increase the development time now, which is not desirable. And the second, judging by some answers from stackowerflow, works slower on windows than on Linux, which is understandable.
Judging by what they write about .net for unix, not a large number of applications will be able to work there, since .net core is very limited and there is no need to choose a DBMS, taking into account the possibility of switching to asp.net 5 and unix.
Does anyone have experience using popular DBMS on Windows or data on their performance?
Windows because I use ASP.NET and C#.

MySQL (+ forks), postgresql. There is nothing else to choose from, take what makes it easier for you to read the dock.
