Which engine is more promising than Unity 3d or Corona SDK?

In general, there are thoughts on the development of toys. You need to choose an engine with the prospect of developing on it all the time.
Input data:
2d game project
No experience in game development (programming experience is available)
Requirements
- ease of development
- promising engine
- the ability to implement an eye-pleasing application (read beautiful)
- cross-platform (iOs, Android)
- support for modern methods of monetization
- free or low price
- good documentation (preferably in Russian, of course)
Considered many options. These two took the lead because 3) both seem to have documentation standards. Only here in Russian, in my opinion, there is not much relevant information
1) they are reluctant to learn C++ and ObjectiveC
2) they are recommended by many
I would like to hear the proposals of the engine from those proposed with at least a minimal justification. Or a suggestion of another engine, but with an explanation why it is better than the ones presented :)
PS I looked at examples of games on the Corona SDK.
It seemed to me that the graphics were somehow rough .. Maybe UPD is wrong of course . Well, in general, I decided that all the same Unity. It looks more complicated, but apparently there are many more opportunities and should be more promising. Thanks to all

Unity has a bigger community, more features, more partners, a plugin store, a bunch of tutorials. And keep in mind, you want 2D now, and then you want 3D. If there is no experience in game development, then Unity is better in every way.
