Which EcmaScript Standard Should You Learn Now?
Hello!
I started learning JavaScript, and here I don’t quite understand which standard to follow, am I talking about EcmaScript? I know that IE8 and < support only ES3 on YouTube, I constantly see about the basics of ES5, and someone says that you need to write in ES2015 (as I understand it, ES6 is called that), and on the site where this standard is written there is already an ES8 version, so what to learn, more precisely to be guided by what I need? Tell me please.

Use the latest version of Babel available . With the advent of ES6 (and small additions in the form of subsequent versions), the language has changed a lot in a positive way, so it will be strange to refuse convenience.
