Which documentation service (text translation) should I choose?

Tell me a convenient service for maintaining documentation, preferably with the convenience of editing and placement.
I took up the translation of the book on Asterisk to GitBook - a convenient service, but after a couple of hours of work, the computer + service starts to slow down, it is very limited in the "repositories", there is no other editor except the web and the biggest disadvantage is that there is no export at least to .doc.
There were different Viewdocs , Read the Docs , GitHub Pages and others.
Or can anyone recommend a good bundle (client+editor) for these services?
