Which distribution kit is better to choose for a thin disk client (RDP)?

Good day, dear colleagues.
There is an always-on fairly productive workstation based on Windows 10, which is located in the office; this is my permanent workplace, where all the necessary software is installed, all services are configured, etc.
However, it often becomes necessary to travel on business trips, I take a laptop with me - far from the fastest, but not quite archaic either - 4 GB RAM, Intel Core i3. There is an idea to install some kind of thin client (disk) on this laptop, so that if you have Internet, you can connect to your workstation and work in a familiar environment. At the moment it's Win7, but are there faster options?

Nothing better has been invented to connect Windows with Windows than the utilities built into Windows. RDP on Windows works well enough for this purpose that you don't have to look for anything better.

Not a problem.
With rights, forbid yourself to run everything except RDP, as a result you will get a thin client based on the seven.

RDP is of course the best option. Try NoMashine - they say you can even play through it.
There is a client under linux.
