What directory component would you recommend for Joomla for a million articles with categories?
million entries in the form of articles (photos, name, description, etc.)
tested out of the K2 box - 12 seconds opening
ZOO 9 seconds
opening both the initial page with categories and not much faster than nested ones, opening the article is the norm
What other options can anyone suggest? standard catalog components!
26 cores, 50 gigs of RAM, server SSD .....
all the software is new MARIADB Debian 10, PHP 5.6 is still standing (but even if you win on PHP 7 for a couple of seconds, it’s not the point, besides, the base request obviously slows down. ..)

Do you have questions about loads of a million articles, or you are working on one project, or an incredible coincidence
Long opening of the catalog page on Joomla 3 + K2/Zoo, Why?
Are you experimenting with pure Joomla on such a volume or already with a set of components, modules, plugins on top?

1. Did you try to enable the server caching system in the joomla settings?
The same Redis, for example.
2. The static must be correctly hashed both on the server and on the client. Requests to a DB - too.
3. The number of articles has nothing to do with the download speed of each individual one.
