Which device to choose?

A linux device is needed, under certain requirements:
Small size.
Built-in wi-fi adapter, or even better, the presence of usb with the ability to connect this very adapter
The ability to install a full-fledged linux (not an android).
Battery powered and/or built-in battery.
So that the performance is enough to work with the network.
Initially, I wanted to buy a simple laptop, but I realized that I didn’t need a screen, but would only interfere. Yes, and for such a task, spending money on a laptop is unnecessary.
I have never bought anything like this, so I decided to turn to you for advice.

used laptop or nettop . True, the battery will have to be screwed to the nettop. Those that are powered by USB can be powered from a powerbank.
