Which database to choose for documents with metadata?

MongoDB

There are a relatively large number of documents that should be sorted into collections and attached metadata (archive_date, keywords, etc.) to speed up searches.
The question is, what database GUIs are available that include convenient database navigation with the ability to add and search through metadata?
Robomongo - did not fit due to lack of implementation for 32bit architecture.
