Which code editor should you choose?

I have been using Visual Studio Code for a long time. But because it was written in Electron, it started up slowly, ate a lot of memory, and so on. I also used vim, but I often had to go into the config, edit it, add / remove various plugins, then I got tired of it. Now I'm looking for alternatives to these editors. It is VERY desirable that it not be written in Electron.

In general, sublime text, but it will also have to add / remove all sorts of plugins and deal with the lack of something that is in vs code.
In general, since your vs code takes a long time to start, it means that the problem is somewhere in the computer. Either it is very weak, or it has hdd instead of ssd.
