Which client-server architecture to choose?
There is an idea to write a simple mobile application that, upon pressing a button on a smartphone, sends basic information to the server, for example, the time and place of pressing the button. What kind of architecture is in fashion now? It is clear that there are a lot of ways to write both the server and client parts, but I want to choose something relevant.
For example, a java servlet plus SQLDB as a backend and an application written in android studio in java as a smartphone client. What are the suggestions? what could be the difficulties? please advise the collective mind. Maybe someone knows the vidosik where it is painted, because. the task is quite banal, at the level of "helovord"?
