Which circuit simulator supports STM8 and SIMxxx?
Hello. Interested in assembling a device on stm8s105, sim800l or sim900. Is there software to simulate the operation of these pieces of iron? Only proteus used this, but did not find stm8 libraries for it. And does it make sense to try to simulate the process of work, if the purpose of the device is to send SMS when the legs are closed? Or to assemble according to the schemes given in the datasheets and not worry?

A program for STM8S can be written and debugged in the same IAR without the processor itself and real hardware, IAR has a simulator. But there is no simulator for SIM900.
Before assembling according to schemes from datasheets, re-read the SIM900 forum, for example here , there are nuances in power supply and tracing. Although SMS will be sent and collected on weight, well, registration on the network can often fail.
