Which browser is best for a netbook?

Intel Atom 1.66GHz, 2GB RAM, Xubuntu OS
As websites get busier every day, browser navigation gets slower and slower, even in a single tab.
If you disable Javascript, then everything works smoothly, scrolling does not slow down, page transitions are also fast, but, of course, most of the sites become inoperative.
I tried to install Opera Mini through the emulator, it works fast, but it's not very convenient to use.
There is also OperaMobile10.deb, a better option, but does not work at the moment, crashes when opening any page.
Perhaps there are some other options? Maybe there is some browser with Javascript support, but to perform only some functions, that is, ajax, location, etc., without decorations, movements, sliders, etc. If there is no such thing at the moment, is it possible to do this?

Firefox I think. It is perfect and works well.

Of the popular ones, the usual desktop Opera eats the least. I highly recommend turning JS off, except when you visit only a dozen sites that do not need it to work. Otherwise, it is a path paved with rakes.
PS: You can also try Midori. The functionality is severely curtailed, but enough for surfing. Yes, and with XFCE is good friends.
