I can’t decide between these two smartphones, so I would like to hear both purely subjective opinions of the owners, and objective assessments of knowledgeable people.

for the price they are about the same, the difference is 1000-2000 rubles (depending on the place of purchase) in favor of Optimus. Samsung is already sold with Android 2.1, while Optimus will have to be updated, I bought it in MediaMarkt with version 1.6 and waited about a week for an update.
From the subjective opinion of the owner of Optimus: someone does not like the design of Optimus, unsightly, etc. Personally, I do not like that there is no place for the stylus. In version 2.1, thank God, they fixed a bug with a set of messages - in version 1.6 on Optimus, I had to edit my SMS without a stylus for 15 minutes so that the receiving party understood what I wanted to say.
The screen is slightly larger than that of the Samsung 320 by 480, on a sunny day, even at the loudest brightness, it looks faded, it is almost impossible to see what is on the screen. I didn’t really try, but it doesn’t seem to be scratched, especially when using the stylus.
I didn’t like the stuffing with useless services for me like Odnoklassniki, Vkontakte, Afisha, Sport, Mamba, which cannot be deleted without root.
About the battery: in the mode I talked, I sat a little on the Internet, it works for 3-4 days, but on the 4th day it starts to squeak about a small charge. With full use of all services, it works from 1 to 1.5 days.
I did not like the speaker - at high volume it crackles a little noticeably.
Another minus - while I was on firmware 1.6, I had to reboot the phone before synchronizing with the computer.
The headset is also in the negative - it falls out of the ears, the feeling that I bought cheap Chinese headphones for 100 rubles in transit. However, the call quality is normal.
The famous APNdroid refused to work - more precisely, it worked, but the Internet did not turn off. Therefore, I had to cut the apn point with my hands and work only through wi-fi, otherwise quite a lot of money is eaten.

I have an optimus ... To be honest, I bought it as a temporary replacement for an old simple phone that failed. I was waiting for Windows Phone 7 to come out so that I could buy a more expensive phone ... I chose a budget phone for myself for a very long time. I read a bunch of forums - in the end I chose.
I used it a little and now I don’t want to change my optimus (especially after I found out the limitations of WP7) :-). Firmware 2.1 is already out. But 2.2, they say, will never come out, which upsets ...
