Which advertising is more effective, direct or bloggers?

Maybe someone studied the issue?
On the one hand, bloggers cannot make targeted ads and often have a very wide range of audiences. On the other hand, various Adwords and Direct where you can make targeted advertising. Thoughts, articles and even companies that do this are welcome.

It all depends on the subject and approach, and this is all found out empirically, the van apparently needs to calculate ROI, and no one will give it without knowing the subject and your approach and promotional materials, the only thing you can do is to study the market and try. However, if you have a fresh product that no one knows anything about and the demand is low, social networks and RTB will do, but if there is a demand, the context is rather the best option, since a person already intends to purchase a product or service and is looking for it in search engines. What to use is up to you. Context in low-cost topics is cheaper than advertising in social networks.
