Which 2D/3D game engine to choose for Linux and JavaScript scripting language?
Greetings!
In the process of working on web applications, I decided that it would be nice to broaden my horizons and do something on the weekends. Plus, I want to involve a child in programming, and I haven’t come up with anything smarter than developing a game with him. Help me choose an easy-to-learn 2D/3D engine that runs on Linux and Windows and uses JavaScript as a scripting language.
PS So far I'm looking at Unity3D under Wine, or Blender4Web. The first one is kind of super-duper, but the non-nativeness under Linux is annoying. The latter suits everyone, although there is a suspicion that the project is dead-ended.
I will be grateful for the answers.

for 2d I advise phaser is based on pixi.js, but sharpened specifically for games, it has a lot of manuals and extensions. you can also look towards construct 2
I have about the same dilemma, only choosing between threejs.org and Blend4Web
What are the problems?
Well, that's highly questionable.
2d www.pixijs.com
3d threejs.org Wrapper in nwjs.io
application or www.tidesdk.org
The fastest to understand 2D: crafy.js and for anyone with no programming experience...
Very easy to learn...
