Where to store the logs collected by logstash?
The bottom line is that the logs take up several gigabytes. But this is not the most critical issue. It is required to regularly pull out entries from the logs according to certain criteria (date, user ID, etc.). So far, all this disgrace is stored in MySQL, but we want to replace it with logstash + mongodb.
I would like to hear advice on who stores logs, what logstash storages do you use and why, how do you analyze logs? More specifically, what kind of storage would you recommend for storing large volumes of logs and searching for records by certain parameters?
