Where to store project/access data and so on?

There was such a question as "Where to store data with access to various systems"? Moreover, store it in such a way that the necessary employees can see this data, so as not to twitch their colleagues with constant questions "Please give me the connection data to database N", "How to connect to server A", "What data should I use to connect to the payment API?" etc.
2 options come to mind, but after consulting with a colleague, one was recognized as not safe, the second is still under consideration, but I'm interested to know if there may be some other places.
My options are: confluence (rejected), store in the .env of the project file, however, in env you can’t put information about connecting via SSH to a particular server.
