I work as a programmer, but I do not have enough knowledge of server administration. In particular, I really want to improve my skills on windows server 2008.
Where to start? What literature to take? Video lessons ?

Everything is described in maximum detail in the guides for preparing for the MSCA 20410,20411,20412 exams.

And in general, any information for preparing for the above exams, IMHO, gives a result higher than studying anything else.

I recommend starting with literature on the 2012r2 server. so as not to produce unnecessary efforts.
