Where to start for a beginner railroader?

Guys, there are pros among us, right? Tell me, please, how to proceed? I want to move forward in the backend.
What I can do now: writing applications using gems (I know that the pros write the "bicycle" themselves). I wrote admin panels on pg, mysql, admin panel + internal chat using mailboxer. So far, there is nothing more to brag about ...
Maybe someone needs an apprentice? :-) Where can I find jobs for beginners? I would like to practice...

I started with the rails for zombies screencasts, which explained the basics and principles of writing rail applications quite well. Then I watched and read everything that caught my eye, watched railscasts. Somehow, the main desire.
I can help with code reviews, tips. It's just that it's hard to say right away what is worth studying.

Write more complex applications, solve problems you don't know how to solve yet.
