Where to run from MODx Revolution?

Historically, websites have been built in MODx. Unfortunately, now this CMS does not suit for some reason, such as a heavy admin panel on ExtJS or storing all the code in the database. The bulk of the developed sites in terms of complexity are corporate.
What to choose for the future perspective? Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla? MODx first of all pleases with the cleanest code and the ability to implement all the "chips" without CMS hooks.

MODx Revo is essentially a great solution both in terms of speed (if you know how to develop on it) and in terms of flexibility. CMF, after all. Therefore, it is best to "run away" from it in the direction of frameworks, Laravel for example.

You will be good if you switch from MODX to Joomla or WordPress)) I agree with my colleagues: after modx, only frameworks, the rest is a step back.
Pysy About the heavy admin panel did not understand at all. What version do you have?

Dear, the claim is no longer on the admin panel, but on storing the code in the database, in my opinion. And where is the admin panel heavy?
I'm just for corporate sites and chose Modx, it suits me. By the way, I came to Modx after Drupal.
On Drupal I make only complex sites, e-shops. Only if you want the cleanest possible code, get ready with hooks.

What about MIGX in MODx Revo? For the first time I hear such topics... Both clients and developers are very satisfied, especially with the flexibility of CMF.
