Where to rent a Li-ion battery in Moscow?
Googling did not reveal the collection points for Li-ion batteries (everyone wants lead). It’s just that a non-working battery from a laptop has been lying around for half a year at home and I don’t want to throw it away (and so in Moscow there are problems with the environment), and there is nowhere to hand it over.

In order not to produce comments - both zedalert and k12th are right:
a) first contact the manufacturer, many really have return programs for used devices and components
b) try contacting non-profit organizations, they may have the necessary information
c) if this is a bummer, then just look who is responsible for disposal and contact them
are they very harmful? it seems like lithium is not a dangerous metal and does not belong to heavy ones. In addition, they contain cobalt and manganese - also not too dangerous substances.
But nickel-cadmium or lead batteries are really harmful - they contain cadmium and lead, heavy metals.
In St. Petersburg there are "Ecomobiles" owned by the Committee for Nature Management. Maybe in Moscow you can turn to this committee?
