Where to move after a technical university?
Hello, I graduated with a degree: "Applied Mathematics and Informatics"
Unfortunately, I have no work experience during the university, all I did was the tasks that were given, there were enough subjects, here are the Database, and the basics of OOP, and Algorithms, and Difuras, and what they didn’t try to shove into us. At some time, I calculated futures prices, played a game about network administration, often analyzed signals in Matlab using Fourier transforms, and sometimes I had to make decisions according to Wald or Savage criteria, write a cabinet opening program, prescribing each its plane using formulas and much more. The only thing I understood after graduating from the university is that I won’t be able to find a job, because what is required is completely different from what was taught, but rather like this: what was taught + a lot more. I don't mind learning, I just don't understand in which direction to develop, Please help with choosing a direction in the field of IT. I liked, for example, creating databases or writing some small programs in Java, I just feel like a horse in a vacuum, it’s not clear how and where to move to do what I like, but I like to think and come up with new solutions. Thanks in advance)

As already correctly noted in another answer, it was worth starting work earlier. Now it will be harder, but still make your way to the first job. Anywhere they take. Decide on a specialization in the process of growing to the middle.
