Where to look for inexpensive or free internet in Phuket?

I have not been abroad for a long time, and when I was, wi-fi was not yet so common. Therefore, I am lost. I'm not used to looking for these access points and connecting to them.
You will need to work on the Internet for about an hour every day, and in the hotel, as far as I understand from the reviews, wi-fi will be paid and time-based.

3g.
It is worth buying a modem on the spot, because. from Russian modems will be only EDGE.

Buy in any stall (shops 7-Evelen, FamilyMart - on every corner) a Dtac or TrueMove SIM card and connect 3G, as an option:
www.dtac.co.th/en/prepaid/products/Happy-internet-package.html
www.truemove.com/en/wifi-edge-gprs-package.htm
TrueMove on some packages also allows you to use Wi-Fi in places where it is provided by the company - and these are, as a rule, more or less large shopping centers (Tesco, Festival, Jungceylon, etc.). In the same shopping centers, by the way, you can catch free Wi-Fi from some cafes and shops, but in general this is quite rare, usually everyone hides behind WPA in one way or another.

In many hotels, hourly Internet, I had 20 baht per hour, in general, it’s normal, if you work for an hour every day, it will come out to 600 rubles per month.
Mobile Internet in Thailand is not ice, free Wi-Fi cafes in the tourist area are rare, but in Thai areas it is usually free and very fast, 10 megabits.
