Where to learn / remember algebra for online courses?

Hello.
I am a humanist by education, although algebra was relatively easy for me at school.
I decided to educate myself and take some Coursera and EDX courses.
I am very interested in the opportunity to introduce methods that preplazhivayut to obtain a result based on quantification (counting). As far as I understand, my practical interest is focused on quantitative methods, analytics, decision making. Perhaps this is not the case and the terminology is different.
In those courses that I liked, data science, algebra, the R language (the standard in the field of analytics), and statistics are often mentioned.
It is very difficult for me to refresh my knowledge of algebra, which I studied 20 years ago.
Perhaps there are knowledgeable people who will tell you where to find an online guide, manual, website, or other resource that is best suited for my purposes - to refresh without getting too deep, or to briefly explain something.
If there is a short dictionary explaining how the same phenomenon is called in English, it would be great in general.
And one more problem: I studied at the Ukrainian school. Therefore, Russian-language sources are useful, but cause some discomfort. This is not an obstacle, but Habr readers from Ukraine will understand that it slows down the grasping of material on the fly. In general, if you remember the Ukrainian resource, even if it is a school resource, you will help me a lot.
Thank you all for your help and the opportunity to try again to return to school and youth.

There is no royal way. Borrow and read school textbooks on algebra. In English, they don’t know which school ones are good. In Russian, the authorship of A.P. Kiselyov is beyond competition in terms of thoughtfulness and accessibility of presentation.
