Where to find script file in wordpress?
There is a site on WP. If you view the site code, it displays the Yandex.metrics script in the header.
But there is nothing similar in the header.php file. Walked total commander'om on the server, found only in the cache. I delete the cache, the script remains the same. Whether it means that the script is connected through a database?

Most likely it is written in the theme settings, so you can't find it in the files. Usually Appearance - Theme options

A similar situation, and I remember exactly that 2-3 years ago I connected Metrika using the standard method. I couldn't find the code code either in the Footer or in the Header. I opened the sql file in Notpad++ and searched for the word yandex. Bingo! the script is there!
