If I'm not mistaken on kickstarter, there is some kind of movement related to the Tamagotchi project for old school hackers - FlipperZero. The Swiss knife of an old-school hacker can do a lot, but as is usually the case with any similar tools - individually, each of the features is weaker than specialized devices. Maybe at the expense of extension modules it will be possible to make a really powerful tool. And of course, it still looks like a specific design toy for script-kidders.
