Where to find and change your geolocation in api telegram?

I have little understanding of what api is and how to work with it, now in the process of parsing and studying what it is, how to work with it, and how the telegram documentation works. I want to open the telegram library to change my geolocation data in order to get contacts.getLocated which are next to the selected geolocation. Thanks in advance for your attention and help!
