Where is the best place to study machine learning and data analysis?
Faced the problem of insufficient skills in the analysis and use of data.
They say that recently a specialization from MIPT and Yandex appeared on Coursera: https://www.coursera.org/specializations/machine-l... .
Has anyone heard of this specialization, or perhaps already started training?
Would it be the right decision to start learning from her?

It is worth starting with probability theory, mathematical statistics, mathematical analysis and linear algebra. Then you can study machine learning.
I'm currently taking a course at the Higher School of Economics "Data Analysis and Machine Learning", but on a 10-point scale, probably 5
... nothing, such is the quality of modern education. If you have any questions write, contacts in the profile.
I think that the classic machine learning course, which is worth at least listening to anyway (it’s better to take part and complete all the tasks) is: https://www.coursera.org/learn/machine-learning
....but it’s clear that the background is needed : the same English, minimal programming, and at least the most general ideas about statistics and matrix calculations.
