Where is more JavaScript?

Hello. I understand that there is no such thing where everything that is in the project is written in pure JS, but still. I prefer to work with pure JavaScript, without HTML / CSS and so on, I don’t really like layout, I like writing algorithms, working with some kind of data, writing some kind of logic. Tell me, please, in which direction should I move along with JS in this case? I'm a beginner because I don't really understand what is written on what. Thanks in advance!
