Where is it more promising to develop in the field of DBMS?

Good to everyone.
At the moment I am engaged in the support of the Data Warehouse based on Oracle. I would like to develop in the direction of the DBMS, but in the one in which they pay more. Those. there is no romance and questions about self-realization. It's just stupid: where they pay more. Ideally, I would also like the chosen path to give the opportunity to freelance and be in demand in the labor market, incl. and foreign. Something like this. Can anyone suggest something based on their life experience?

in the big and fat 2000s, when there was enough for everyone, everyone extended Oracle licenses without any problems, in large companies there was only Oracle, and with a license with an unlimited number of installations. Now, except for the richest like ...industry, ...oil, the situation has changed and they have begun to consider projects not only on Oracle. Previously, only Oracle knowledge was enough for DBA, now it is no longer enough and the market will be more in demand, in my opinion, those who, in addition to Oracle, can at least cope with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and also preferably who are at least familiar with NoSQL such as Mongo, Apache Cassandra etc.
