Where is it better to start learning the technology of creating websites in c #: ASP.NET or ASP.NET MVC for further employment?

I heard that ASP.NET died in 2016 and MVC didn't come to replace it. I have basic knowledge of html, css, js, jquery, php, ajax and c# ( OOP ). I want to move into the direction of web technologies (most likely back end) and, for starters, become junior c# in the labor market in Ukraine. I am very worried about the question of where it is better to start learning ASP.NET or ASP.NET MVC. If ASP.NET is needed in order to learn MVC in the future, then how long to learn asp.net?

Classic ASP.NET is already obsolete, learn ASP.NET MVC.

"I heard that ASP.NET died in 2016" - I've been hearing this for 10 years...
for a specific small task, it's a great choice to this day. but you just need to understand the advantages and disadvantages of
ASP.NET MVC - this is more of a trend, especially for employment
; however, my advice is if you understand the nuances yourself, and you will be able to apply both, depending on the situation, and argue choice - that's when your value in the labor market will be winning

No difference. Try to devote a couple of hundred hours to both stacks.
