Where is information about monitors in the registry?

There are 2 monitors and a TV via HDMI. To transfer the image to the TV, you have to go to the Nvidia control panel, select monitors there, clone the image, apply settings, and all this is accompanied by unnerving lags. And then you still need to transfer the sound from the speakers to the Realteck Digital Output to the TV set. My question is: where in the registry is it written which monitors should be active and how they should be displayed (clone or extension of the table), and the same question for sound. I want to write a simple vb and jscript that will change the registry settings as needed, but, unfortunately, I don’t know where to get into the registry. Or how can you catch the change of keys in the registry when switching monitors / sound?

I think it will not work through the registry, because even if there is something to change, someone has to tell the OS that it is necessary to switch, I don’t think that it monitors the branches in the registry. In your situation, the best solution would be to connect a splitter , in which case 2 devices with the same image (cloning) will hang on 1 of the ports.

You can try to track it with the process monitor
filter > event class >is > registry utility.
The second option is to make two snapshots of the registry before and after making changes (there are many programs for this) and determine the parameters from the changes or export them as a * .reg file
For memory, of course I don't know the settings.
