Where is flask.session data stored?

Explain who knows. Where is Flask.session data stored? As far as I understand, there is a 4kb cookie size limit, but session allows you to store larger data. Where are they stored (if by default).

by default really in cookies. If the size does not pass - there will be a bummer.
the solution to the question is to store it somewhere else, for example - on the file system or in some DB.
